Annabella

Director and Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist

Annabella Facchin is the Founder and Director of Sound & Strength Speech Pathology and an experienced Speech Pathologist providing mobile, clinic, and telehealth services across South Australia.

Annabella has worked across hospital, community, rehabilitation, and aged care settings, with experience supporting individuals with stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, and complex communication and swallowing needs. She spent five years with SA Health across both rural and metropolitan services before transitioning into private practice in 2024.

She is passionate about delivering personalised, functional therapy that focuses on meaningful outcomes. Annabella works closely with clients, families, and care teams to provide supportive, goal-driven care.

With a strong commitment to accessibility, Annabella is dedicated to supporting both metro and regional communities through flexible service delivery.


Celina

Speech Pathologist

Celina began at Sound & Strength as an AHA in 2025. She continues to bring fun, humour, and glamour to the team.

She has gained experience at the Flinders Repat, Health2Go Fluency, and at school settings, as well as having boundless opportunity as a clinician at Sound & Strength. Celina is interested in adult language therapy and is a strong clinician in social communication intervention.

Celina is passionate about client-centred care. She’s dedicated to helping individuals of all ages reach their communication goals, and she’s all about creating safe, inclusive spaces through strong connections with clients and their families.

She loves long beach walks with her friends and won’t say no to a chat!


Darcy

Allied Health Therapy Assistant

Darcy has been a wonderful all-rounder since joining Sound and Strength in February 2025. She takes initiative across admin, speech work, cleaning, and anything else she can get her hands on.

Darcy is a fourth-year speech pathology student with experience working with both adults and children. She has a genuine passion for supporting meaningful communication goals across language, speech, AAC, and early intervention. Darcy especially loves supporting our littlies, particularly with speech sound goals and emotional regulation.

Darcy is committed to continual learning and delivering quality care to create an inclusive and supportive environment for the individuals and families with whom she works. In therapy, she loves bringing out Marble Run, supporting belly breaths, and blowing bubbles.

Outside of the clinic, Darcy loves playing netball and catching up with friends.


Charlotte

Allied Health Therapy Assistant

Charlotte is a kind, smart individual who has joined the team in 2025 as an AHA. She is in the final year of her Speech Pathology degree at Adelaide University, gaining experience across placement and work.

Charlotte is passionate about helping clients build confidence and connect with the world around them. She values creating warm, supportive, and inclusive relationships with clients and their families, and is dedicated to delivering person-centred care that makes a genuine difference in achieving communication goals.

Charlotte is passionate about supporting young people as they develop their communication skills and enjoys working alongside families to celebrate progress at every stage of the journey. At Sound and Strength, Charlotte has supported various clients who use AAC, and this experience has fostered a love for this area.

Outside of the clinic, Charlotte loves Pilates and testing new cafes to find the best matcha.


Natalie

Allied Health Assistant

Natalie joined us as an AHA in 2026, marvelling at the opportunities presented to her by Sound and Strength. She appreciates mobile work, as she loves a drive and enjoys seeing clients in their most comfortable environment. Natalie also currently manages our amazing Instagram page.

Natalie is a fourth-year Speech Pathology student at Flinders University. Originally from Ballarat, she began her studies in a Bachelor of Languages in 2022, following her passion for linguistics and French. Her curiosity about the brain, language, and biology soon led her to discover Speech Pathology, and she hasn't looked back since.

Natalie is passionate about working with clients of all ages and presentations, with experience in fluency, early intervention, and intensive aphasia therapy. With every experience, Natalie’s love and interest for speech pathology has grown stronger, motivating a love of learning. She is dedicated to building confidence, supporting client-centred goals, and is always up for a chat. Natalie cares deeply about helping others, as she understands the impact of communication on connection, freedom of expression, emotional wellbeing, and everyday life.

Outside of the clinic, Natalie is constantly in pursuit of new places to swim, adventure, and dine.


Tracey

Speech Pathologists

Tracey joined Sound and Strength in 2026 as an experienced speech pathologist. Our team is grateful to have ascertained her skill, knowledge, and diverse academic background.

Tracey has completed her Master of Speech Pathology and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Flinders University. She has experience working with both children and adults within clinic and community settings.

Tracey is passionate about supporting her clients' growth and development of communication skills through individually tailored therapy sessions, and through collaboration with families, educators, and allied health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Outside of work, Tracey enjoys painting, travelling, and spending time with her family.


Jorjia

Speech Pathologists

Jorjia is a warm, bright individual who brings versatile experience, professionalism, and passion to Sound & Strength. Outside of work, Jorjia enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with her dog, Digger.

Jorjia graduated from Flinders University with Honours, with research focused on enhancing language and literacy support for South Australian students. She has developed a strong, well-rounded foundation in speech pathology practice through clinical training and professional experience across hospital, community, and school settings. Jorjia has gained experience at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, across schools, and in regional paediatric services in Mount Gambier. Her time working as an Education Support Officer further reinforced her commitment to providing meaningful and functional support to school-aged children. Her academic, clinical, and employment background has shaped her interest in supporting children and families with communication, swallowing, and learning goals.

Jorjia is passionate about working across the lifespan and supporting individuals of all presentations through high-quality, empathetic, and person-centred care. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve functional outcomes that allow confident engagement with the people and communities that matter most to them.


Isabella

Allied Health Assistant

Isabella is a third-year speech pathology student at Adelaide University who is passionate about supporting kids to develop confidence and communication to translate into real life skills. She enjoys working as part of a team and assisting across a range of therapy activities to help create positive and engaging experiences for clients. Her experience in dance teaching led her to discover her desire to work with children.

Isabella is dedicated to building her skills and knowledge, and values providing supportive, client-centred care to individuals and their families.

Outside of work, Isabella enjoys Pilates and catching up with friends for a beach walk & a coffee.


Abby L

Senior Speech Pathologist

Abby brings 11 years of speech pathology experience to Sound & Strength.

She is a massive asset to the team, stepping into a mentor role for our graduate and emerging clinicians.

Abby graduated with a Bachelor of SP (Honors) in 2015 at the University of Newcastle. Previously having lived in Maitland (NSW), Abby moved to Adelaide with her family in January 2026.

She loves working in paediatrics and has a particular focus in speech, language, social communication, and literacy. She has worked at three private clinics and worked independently as a sole trader. While each role has involved clinic and community settings, Abby really enjoys seeing families in the spaces in which they feel most comfortable. Being a Mum adds lived experience to Abby’s work, where she brings deep empathy and understanding.

Abby’s favourite part of the role is connecting with families; helping them feel seen and supported. She aspires to be a warm and fun person for families to look forward to seeing each session. Outside of work, Abby loves spending time with her family and kids, walking their whippets, playing hockey, going to the beach and searching for the best brunch spots.


Abby B

Allied Health Assistant

Abby is a warm and enthusiastic individual who joins the team as an AHA while completing her final year of Speech Pathology at Flinders University. She brings a range of experience from previous roles as an AHA and nanny, where she developed a strong passion for working with children.

Abby loves connecting with young clients and is passionate about creating therapy that is fun, engaging, and a little bit silly, while still supporting meaningful progress toward communication milestones. She has a particular interest in language and social communication and enjoys supporting non-speaking clients and their families to find their voice through AAC and multimodal communication. Her experience working in this area internationally has further strengthened her passion.

More recently, Abby has developed a growing interest in working with adults following a clinical placement, where she supported individuals to rebuild confidence and return to their everyday lives after events such as stroke and traumatic brain injury.

Abby values building strong, connected relationships with all her clients, creating a safe and empowering environment where they can work together toward functional, person-centred goals.

Outside of the clinic, Abby enjoys Pilates, going for matcha and walks with friends, and spending quality time with her family and her dogs.
